The Jam at the Orpheum Theater in Saugerties

We're back!

The John Street Jam rides again, this time on the big stage at the Orpheum Theater on Main Street in Saugerties. Tickets are available at the Upstate Films web site

Built in 1908, the stage was home to such Vaudeville legends as Burns & Allen and Gypsy Rose Lee, and began showing moves in 1918.

The show scheduled for May 22nd has been postponed until the Ulster County chapter of COVID finally adjourns, hopefully later this summer. Watch this space for more info and updates.

This month we present Part Two of Fran Palmieri's Lincoln Suite, featuring Jeff Entin, Bruce Hildenbrand, TG Vanini, Julie Parisi, Lauren Tully, Fran Palmieri, and Terri Massardo, with narration by Paul Tully.  This edition takes up where the last one left off, with Abe's courtship of Mary and his path to the Senate.  CDs of this performance and of the previous one from 2012 will be available at the show for only $5.

Although we won't be able to re-create the original format with the musicians in the center, the intimacy of the Jam will remain on the big purple rug.
